Visa Types

Employment Pass (EP)
Category 1
​Applicants must earn a minimum salary of RM10,000 per month and above with a minimum employment contract of 2 years and beyond. This EP is valid up to 5 years and is renewable. Applicants are allowed to bring dependents and hire a foreign domestic helper.

Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
PVP is a multiple entry work pass for foreigners with acceptable qualifications or specialist skills, servicing a Malaysian company on behalf of an overseas company for up to one year. The foreigner must remain employed by the home country and cannot be directly employed by the Malaysian company.

Employment Pass (EP)
Category 2
Applicants must earn a minimum salary of RM5,000 to RM9,999 per month with a minimum employment contract of up to 23 months. This EP is renewable and applicants are allowed to bring dependents and hire a foreign domestic helper.

Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H)
MM2H is a long term visa suitable for investors who are willing to park between USD 150,000 to USD 1 million, in addition to purchasing a residential property for self-use.

Dependent Pass (DP)
EP holders are eligible to apply a Dependant Pass (DP) for their spouse and children below 18 years of age. DP holders are not allowed to work or earn an income in Malaysia.

Residence Pass – Talent (RP-T)
RP-T is a 10-year approval for an independent work pass for foreign talent that have completed 3 years on an EP and have a minimum monthly basic salary of MYR15,000.
